Mikhail Alshinetsky, Chief veterinarian of the Moscow Zoo. Member of EAZA Veterinary Committee, full member of Wildlife Disease Association. Consultant for the Russian Academy of Science Amur tiger study, projects on GPS-tracking the populations of auroch, common wolf, and walrus species. Mikhail has been working in the zoo since 1994 and in 2004 he was appointed the chief of veterinary department.
